It's February 2015!! Finally changed my art blog theme and layout. It's been long overdue. Hope you like it ;).
And here's a late post from December 2014...
I participated in a Children Ministry Leaders' Training; there was a session where we could spend time letting God speak to us through creativity. I like it that it was a full-day session for us to explore our creative sides with different mediums: sewing, beads, box craft, paint, music, dance, etc.

| This image was stuck in my mind and I had to paint it. A moment of child-like innocence and joy of the adult participants playing with balloons during the evening session the day before. |
 |
| A quick oil pastel sketch of a ballerina bear while the other participants were engrossed in sewing felt bears with skirts. |
My first time taking part in Inktober! Here's some ink illustrations based off @Daily__Doodle topics.
 |
| #1: Postman Parrot |
 |
| #2: Cowboy Cat |
 |
| #3: Teacher Tortoise |
...and I stopped over a weekend and couldn't pick up after that :(. 'Till next Inktober then!
Some sketches from September.
I got a new name thanks to the barrista at Coffee Bean. (Finger sketch on Sketchbook mobile)
Pencil sketch of Wednesday girl. Random hair and fashion references from Pinterest.
I started getting sick a couple of weeks back and I'm just recovering from the flu, fever, cough and sore throat. Gosh, I really wanted to drink mango juice right out of the carton!
Here's Rikki Tikki Tavi from 'The Jungle Book' for a #Sketch_dailies topic. I opted to try a different approach to paint this; using the Lasso tool, Gradient and Mouse. Yeah, it was a challenge to tackle the curves, so the Pen tool came in handy for Rikki's outline. And technically, this sketch was done at the end of August.
Anyway, October's round the corner. Hope to do some ink sketches for Inktober!
A design I did for an upcoming Children Camp with the theme 'My Jesus, My Buddy'. I drew (pun not intended) some inspiration of the character designs from the kids at the children ministry I serve at every Sunday.
Just noticed I haven't posted anything for a few weeks. Here's one for a @Sketch_Dailies topic on Sleeping Beauty......a sleep walking beauty.
